“When people ask what equipment I use, I tell them my eyes.”
I learned the art of photography during a career as a journalist, and the more time I spend behind the camera the more I fall in love with the craft and the artistry of it.
my passion for photography is derived from photographing sports and evolved into portrait and lifestyle photography; seniors, families, events, etc. you name it, I’ll make images of it.
during my time as a journalist and photographer for The Commercial Review newspaper in Portland, Indiana, I received 35 awards, including 19 for photography. I was a two-time Photo of the Year finalist in the Hoosier State Press Association’s Better Newspaper Contest; the only two times a CR photographer has earned the honor.
a recent dad, I look forward to working with any prospective client to provide the utmost quality and satisfaction to create keepsakes that will last the test of time.
in early 2024, I obtained my FAA Part 107 unmanned aircraft system (drone) pilot license and have been incorporating drone photography into my services.
